White water rafting is a challenging recreational outdoor activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water.

Journey begins…….1st, start from the body surfing…..

Learning the safety tips for white water rafting from our instructor. The river was full of rocks and small waterfalls which made the rafting journey even more exciting.

This half day adventure cost RM230 person with lunch provided (Rm200 for group rate)!

Start from 8am, meeting point at Kuala Kubu town post office entrance. At put-in point, drivers with their cars will then be escorted by a guide to Pull Out point and leave the cars there after which we shuttle the drivers back to the start point to join the other rafters.

After a briefing on how to raft, rafting commences down the 6km run and will take approximately 1 1/2hrs to 2hrs depending on the water level and convoy size.

It is a good experience that we all had!!!

Video Games Live (VGL) is a concert series created and produced by industry veterans and video game composers Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall. The concerts consist of segments of video game music performed by a live orchestra with video footage and synchronized lighting and effects, as well as several interactive segments with the audience.

This time, it shows in Kuala Lumpur with the very prestigious National Symphony Orchestra.  The performances took place at the famed Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (Plenary Hall) which sits right underneath our well known PETRONAS Twin Towers. 

It start with a costume competition! Among Snow white, Dark Vader … etc, Super Mario won the game!

1st ever created “Pong” video game & live Skype with the creator!

Interacting with the audiences – space invades & guitar hero competition!

Special Guests include Metal Gear Solid composer Norihiko Hibino from Japan who performed his hit song "Snake Eater" (from Metal Gear Solid 3) with the symphony!

A fun & entertaining experience! And also, I get to know Khai’s world even better now!….

I am not a big fan of outdoor activities. But I don’t know where my guts came from that i suggest myself, Khai, Ernie, Mary, Alice, J.R. and Samantha go for a hike on Gasing Hill.

Gasing Hill or Bukit Gasing is the only remaining forest reserve in Petaling Jaya. There are forest trails, a viewing tower and resting area for nature lovers.

I have to admit, i slowed everyone down. And i felt really sorry about my turtle speed. But my dearest bro & sister are really patient with me,  without their encouragement, i won’t be able to finish this 2 hours hike!

Suddenly i feel like singing “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus….

Now, this problem is solved. Coz my super geek friend, Nigel, taught me how to customize my own iPhone ringtones.

I am so addicted in creating ringtones now, and happily assign  the ringtone to whomever i wish. ~Heehee~

Here are the steps:

Step1:  Get access to the mp3 that you wanna convert to a ringtone.

Step2:  Drag the file into iTunes

Step3:  Select the file in iTunes. Right click –> Get info –>Option (Fill in the START & STOP time in the music that you want it to play as the ringtone. ~40 seconds long or less)

Step4:  Right click –> Convert  AAC Version in the Advanced menu.

Step5:  Select the new AAC file and select Show in Windows Explorer.

Step6:  Change the file extension from .m4a to .m4r

Step7:  Confirm when the dialog asks if you really want to make the change

Step8:  Drag the new m4r. file back into iTunes.  If you are having trouble, delete the original m4a files from iTunes. The original mp3 files will remain but the ringtone will disappear.

Step9:  Connect your iPhone and select the Ringtone tab. Select the new ringtone that has been created.

Step10:  Now sync your iphone with iTunes.

Step11:  Assign the ringtone in iPhone. Ringtone –> Custom –> (Song Name) –> Done

Cooking is the No.1 skill that all Iranian ladies have to learn before they get married. My friend Maryam was well taught in cooking by her mum since she was young. Look at the food on the table, all prepare by Maryam alone in a dinner party at their home! She is great rite?

Not only that, now i can go to any Iranian restaurant to order food by myself even if the menu was not written in English! ~~

Karaoke, movie and dinner are activities I can do in any normal day! But we do it with an “upgraded” version of all these on my birthday,  it makes the day unforgettable!

My dear Maryam had never been to Karaoke! Its good to arrange her 1st Karaoke experience on my birthday, so she’ll never forget this day!

And after that, we caught the Latest Romance Movie “Twilight Saga: New Moon” in the Platinum Movie Suite!

The Climax of the day is having dinner in KL Tower, Seri Angkasa Revolving restaurant! And Khai’s bought me a My Melody (My favourite Cartoon Character) Birthday Cake!

Take Train to Yilan….Really enjoy the Hot spring there.  Not only that, normally I am afraid of Century egg with a strong odor of sulfur and ammonia. But Surprisingly, Yilan Century egg & Hot spring egg taste differently, Still cannot forgot the taste till now! Heehee!

And more food in restaurants..

When we got home, the postcard that i sent from Taipei 101 arrived! It will constantly remind me how beautiful Taiwan is!!!

Taiwan, we will be back!!^^
