During the last weekend, our resident association ( BU 7 & 10 ) held a carnival at one of the parks around our ‘Taman’. The purpose of this carnival is to raise funds for the MAA kidney charity fund. It was quite a noble event so we decided to eat our lunch and have some fun!
Most of the resident here were really supportive and they showed up to donate their money for this event. My mother-in-law, Deborah and her dancing friends gave a helping hand and helped to prepare an assortment of food and drinks to sell at the stores. Some even went as far as to outsource hawkers and even Domino Pizza, as well as contribute their own home made dishes.
Khai were strolling around the park looking at some of the games. Most of the games looked very easy on the surface but in actual fact, posed quite a challenge for Khai, even though he had been playing games all his life. He came across a number of challenges, but because of charity, we didn’t mind spending a lot of money on the games. Thankfully he won me a lollypop as a consolation prize! Thanks, dear!
Khai also bought me a new toy during the past week. The name of the toy is called My Melody, a close comrade of Hello Kitty. My Melody is my most favorite toy of all time. I’ve been playing with it since I was very young and I have an abundance of stickers, posters and little imitations of My Melody. In Malaysia, we came across a lot of imitations. Some of them do not even look remotely close to what My Melody actually looks like. But Khai finally found an original version of the toy. The toy cost RM140 - which is more than Khai’s car maintenance!
So why did Khai spend so much money on the toy? I guess he really wanted some burgers in return, and stop me to control his diet…
Khai and I are legally married on 07/07/07.
Our friends are very concern that when we are having our wedding ceremony. Hey friends, the date is finally decided. That is on the 24th November. We believe that it is a damn good day.
The reason why is because, that day is my Chinese lunar birthday. And 3 of our friends- Edmund , Jiamin, Michael birthday fall on that day.
And it is also Ritan and Eesaw wedding anniversary . Waw…. It is such a happy day that so many of friend that we can sharing the joys together.
But married is not happy all the time. The preparation is also quite a lot. Me and Khai never wanna get married suddenly simply because the 07/07/07. now when I look at my check list, oh no…… so much thing to do……….

Like giggling, anger. and making funny faces, it make our album look more natural.
- WEDDING RING
Diamond is girls best friend. I totally agree with this.
We get our wedding rings in Mid Valley - Love Diamond, which is under THE CARAT CLUB.
The 1st time we walk in to that shop, we wore t-shirts and pants. it just doesn’t look like a potential customer. Most of the jewelry shop won’t even bother us. But Love Diamond is very different.
Jayee give us a excellent service, and everything we need, they will give us 110% support.
We glad that we get our dream diamond there, and from Jayee, i learn more about diamond.
What make me really touch is, we are having a church wedding, so we need the pillow for the ring in our ceremony.
Unfortunately that when we ask for the pillow, they are running out of stock. But they never ignore us, they call us, and we get what we want.
- WEDDING VENUE
In PJ, if you did not book your wedding dinner 1 year in advance, it is damn hard to get hotel or restaurant to held your wedding dinner.
It means that, it’s impossible to have our wedding dinner this year . So we decided to have a wedding lunch instead, in a restaurant ( Damansara Palace), which is quite near our house.
It’s how the restaurant looks like. On the actual wedding day, JS will help us to do some make over for the place. So it would look more presentable. haha
- WEDDING INVATATION
The restaurant gives us a very unconventional wedding invatation to our guest. Almost 90% of our friend feel it really cool.
HWAH …… Prepare a wedding is not easy, but once in a life time, I’m enjoying it. heehee…..
Khai and i went back to my hometown – JB on his 28th birthday.
This was his 1st birthday that we celebrated with my family.
We brought him to eat steamboat, which khai was never tried before, he’s a bit “suaku” right, heehee…
He is very lucky that the best chief in our family Rachel and Alex prepare the food for him. they steam for him, and fry for him. He feels like a king on that day.
My family likes khai very much, Lynn likes to play boardgame with him, and everytime we come back to JB, we will look for our favorite food, especially “ gue diao gia”
The restaurant we have our “gue diao gia” this time is quite famous in JB, and is it even featured on tv.
Now khai, you are 28 years old now. That’s something very important that I must tell you…….. Dear, Please do something about your weight……. hahah
